I purchased some trains from ebay a few weeks ago.The seller originally was shipping parcel post but I asked  if he could ship ups or priorty mail.He agreed to ship priorty mail and charged me the additional postage. After three weeks the items arrived with a parcel select label on the box.I had contacted him  with no responce.I contacted ebay and was told to open a dispute case. The sellers responce was it was the fault of the post office for the delay not his.I feel if the order was sent priorty mail like I requested it would arrived on time.I am asking for a partial refund for the additional shipping charges. The post office gives no time gaurantee for parcel post or priorty mail.Have other people on the forum had this happen.

Leave him negative feedback on every item. Wait about a week or two to post each one that way they do not disappear too quickly from his feedback. I had a guy do me the same way on some matchbox cars I won three and he would not combine the shipping. Charged me $21.00 to ship three cars. He was not too happy when the negatives started showing up on his feedback.

I hope you made all contact with seller thru ebay.  They will have a record of your request for priority mail.  This particular thing has never happened to me on ebay but I have opened several cases with them about other matters with sellers.  Sometimes it takes awhile but I won every case I opened.  Especially, mention that the seller will not respond to your attempts to contact him or her.  Ebay will ask you if you have tried to resolve the problem with the seller.  Keep at it.  You will win.

I would also note that the item was shipped according to ebay on a saturday    but was not actually bought to post office until wednesday. Apparently ebay considers printing out a shipping label that the item was shipped.I have opened a case with ebay and waiting for outcome.I am sure the shipping delay added to the shipping time.I don"t no how just printing a shipping label could mean an item was actually shipped.

It could be the most valuable lesson is what you may have learned to avoid this happening again in the future.  I have found no good deal is that good with strangers on eBay if they can't reply to one or more letter prior to me bidding or buying something.

The more something costs, the more I ask questions.  I recently was looking for an N gauge set and found a fellow from Cal. who was very helpful answering all my questions.  He dealt a lot of N stuff and put together a package deal with a fair shipping price.  I'll buy there again.

Relationships are important.  It's also good to read the feedback carefully.  I see buyers leave positive feedback because sellers refund their money for reasons that to me are red flags.  I pass.

Good luck in the future, a few dollars isn't worth the agitation of dealing with dishonest folks.
