Signature and Mid America Logo issue

Your's and Leavingtrack's MidAmerica 3 Rail logo shows up on my computer.

Frank, it is srill just like last night, red x and sorta of an empty space whwew rgw logo should be. Maybe someone will contact the Hoopla people for help.

I see the logo just fine. The logo is not hosted on Hoop.la but is located at http://midamerica3railers.webs...logo-two.jpg%204.jpg 

There is nothing Hoop.la can change

All the code on the forum says to the browser is "Hey go look at http://midamerica3railers.webs...logo-two.jpg%204.jpg" and retrieve the logo. Think of it as a sign on the road saying hey look over there to see your destination.

Why so many are not getting it could be an issue with the midmaerica web host. These types of things are often a DNS issue, where they changed a server or similar and your ISP is using an old DNS table or has the old address cached.

These usually clear up within 72 hours as the ISP's refresh their DNS cache

Chris...in this particular case, the logo is not being hosted by the Mid America site.  It is a logo that was developed and sent directly to each member.  I built the website and imported the logo to that website but I do not link the logo to other members as the hosting site.  It comes directly from a file on my computer with instructions on how to post it in their signature.  As I understand it.....in the case of posting a picture (or logo) in your signature, as opposed to posting a picture in a thread here on the forum, you must first save it to a hosting site OR one can copy it directly from another forum member's signature and paste it....am I one track here or completely derailed.  By the way, we haven't had this problem before....  I think Frank has tried but just needs someone to figure out how to try to do it over again...

aAlan, I have tryed just doing what you said above about making a copy off a member and pasting into the profile.

It is wearing me out to copy and paste into all of my replys

Bill...you should only have to do it once if you copy and paste into the signature box in your profile.  Then it should work automatically after that.  If not, let me know and I can send instructions again on how to put it there through a photo host...

Alan, thanks for the comments. I sis get it to work ok and was teasing about having to paste it in all my post.

I am glad Frank got his working because I could not seeit but others could.

Thanks Bill...you got me on that one you ornery feller you!!  Everyone I had asked to look at Frank's reported back to me that they couldn't see the logo.  So I still don't know what he did to make it work but what matters is it does!!

Alan I could not see it either. My guess is that he did a copy from a member and did a paste into his profile.

So, just what is the coding on the forum to insert such a picture into a signature?
