Single 153IR triggering more than one 153 block signal?

Is it possible to trigger more than one 153 block signal with a single 153IR? I thought it would be so I tried it.

One of the 153 signals worked correctly (green from the NC and red from the NO connections on the 153IR and the 3rd wire to the Acc Gnd) but the other 153 signal did not trigger and both red & green lights remained on even though the 3 wires went to the same 153IR connection.
