Hello all. Well, I have two asc 6000 Legacy Diesels. The first one's smoke unit buzzes so loudly you can hear it from quite a distance. I called Lionel and was told that it was normal and they would refund my money if I would like. Strange- No way does Lionel intend for this motor to sound like a Wal-Mart product. The second is the most resent-about three months. Yes, I know it's in warranty but I hate having to send yet another unit back to Lionel. Well, this unit stopped working yesterday and I got the blinking light. I tried reset twice but no luck. It says if reset fails on the third time it locks the smoke unit and it MUST be returned to be fixed. I wish the smoke units were what they SHOULD be AND what they COULD be if Lionel put the effort into them. The current units are poor to put it mildly.
