Today I received a Lionmaster Challenger 2003 TMCC. I began by adding an initial 1.5ml of smoke fluid. I noticed a few firm blows down the stack prompted a spraying of fluid along the body of the engine. I also noticed a shine near the drive and boiler. I assume there is nothing to be worried about with the oil based fluid, but was wondering if 1-2ml would be too much for the old smoker. I love this engine and plan on taking exquisite care of it. Any information upon the topic is welcomed.

thank you gentlemen,

Smoke fluid tends to migrate everywhere.

Add to that these challengers have a horribly designed outlet. It's rather narrow and makes a zig zag down to the resovior. Fluid always gets trapped.

I'd probably recommend a "night before" fill and a more gentle blow.

Sometimes covering  1 stack with a finger and blowing down the other helps.

The outlet is between the two stacks and cannot be seen.
