I can't make it this year, bad back. Hope they all have fun.

Not going, too many other projects in the works. Still having our traditional York media coverage though!
I'm not going. I'm no longer TCA: Too little bang for the buck.
Too far, or is York still in Pennsylvania? We need a smaller country.
Not going in the Spring but the Fall is still a go. I wanted to come up on Saturday but the munchkins Little League starts Saturday so that's where I'll be.

Not me. Gave up my TCA membership years ago.

I'm on a once-a-year schedule now so I won't be there until October.
Bill
Not me, over 2,600 miles away, so it's not just a hop in the car and be there in an hour or so (more like 40+ hour drive or over 4 hours by plane). With young kids in tow that's a lot to ask for them to endure either way.
My bad back will no longer allow it. I am not going to renew my TCA membership either.Have fun guys.
Rob
Been a member of the TCA since the 20th century. '77 to be exact. I've been to York 3 times. Want to go again before I die. But not this spring. And probably not this fall.
i wouldn't be surprised to hear the ability or desire to gravitate toward such a meet might follow the inverse square law.
have fun Nor'easters.
cheers...gary
No spring trip here. I may try for October this year.............Paul

I'll be there, 61st straight time I made it. Will miss all you guys.

Finally, a York Topic I can get into. This will be the 61st straight time I haven't gone. 25 years in the TCA never went.
According to Google, it's only 1,065 for me, but still too far so I won't be going. Maybe someday?
Me. I've never been. Don't know when or if I ever will go. I'd like to go to meet everyone, but not to shop: seem to be able to spend more than I shouldquite nicely without York
Maint,
Unfortunately I have not been able to attend for many years, York falls right in the middle of my busy work schedule, both in the spring and fall, teaching fly fishing in the spring and training Grouse dogs in the fall. It's been a bummer and someday I hope to be able to attend once again, but it is not going to be for a while yet.

I certainly would like to meet everyone as well. Maybe I'll go someday, but not so much to shop.
Too expensive for my limited budget. I'd certainly like to go -- I'm sure I'd find plenty of things for which I've been looking for years -- but my wallet says no.
Anyone who can should go at least once. It is a 10 hour drive from my house in Michigan. I have been many times but dropped my TCA membership this year since I probably won't be going anymore.

I missed one York because of work and one because of health and decided I'm not going too let either get in the way this year.
After reading some of the threads on here, I really wanted to go, and even told the boss I might take a day or two off. However, when push came to shove, I decided it would be best to wait until fall. That way I have time to build up a significant cash pile. I don't want to drive 3 hours each way, then have to watch every penny while I'm there.
Besides, as mentioned above, it is Little League season, and I have an 11 year old and a 14 year old to cheer for.
I'm a late scratch, but will still be having fun this week. Heading out Thursday morning for New Orleans for the 2015 Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Had already registered for York months ago but this opportunity came up.
I'll be there in October.
really thought I was going to make this one, but schedule just won't cooperate. Hoping for spring '16.
Tim
too much real life keeps going on, but I'd like to get there someday.
Me.
I can't, slipped on snow covered ice at the end of February, broke my right ankle; I just got out of the "boot" and pitched the crutches up the attic steps. Anything more than a couple hours on my feet, and I am kaput. Hate to miss it, it is the first one I will miss since I became a member in spring 2002.
No Go this year, but this October? Possibly... Besides what would I do with all those empty train boxes? I have way too many of those already.
I'm a TCA member but with work and a young family/kid I cant make It but would Love to go! I wish the Eastern TCA would consider staying open all day Saturday, maybe someday.
Not me, for a few reasons:
1. It's ridiculously far from me in the Pacific Northwest (the internet says that it'd be a 40+ hour, non-stop drive and just shy of 2800 miles)
2. I don't do 3-rail at all
3. I get so little time off (I get a decent amount of time for annual vacation but most requests for time off are denied as my employer is crazy understaffed as a permanent thing) I can't get to do much of anything. This year, I couldn't even make my annual pilgrimage to Huntsville to do the 'astronaut' thing at Space Camp (my website link explains that) or attend the NMRA convention which is just an hour and a half away from my home this year.
But really, condition # 2 is why you probably will never see me there.
I'm gonna have a friend of mine pick up some extra GGD El Cap coaches. I'm giving him $300 so I am expecting to get 3-4. If he can score a better deal he can keep the change.
.
Been going since Oct 88, missed two for personal reasons. I'll be there this week.
I've gone there with empty pockets and still had a great time.
I had planned to go with another TCA member, however, his wife put her foot down and said he could not go.....Well, its a long drive from Tennessee, so, we will try to slip in the October Meet.... Its the best Train Meet in the USA....More Trains and related items than any place that I have ever been. EVEN IF you do not purchase anything, The People are what its all about, the Education is free, the Scenery is Great, and its all FUN. York is a One of a Kind Experience. Happy Railroading...
I'm tied up on a project that's running 12 hours a day, seven day's a week. I have hotel reservations already for the October meet.Planning on driving up and filling up the F150 with goodies again.
The closest I ever got was I dropped off some Ebay sales to a guy as I was up that way because my mother was in real poor health. I'm still determine to get there one day but it's still going to be a few years.

Ditto.......
Plus too many years of attending plastic model shows.......100's of them over the last 45 years.......ZERO shows required membership and the most costly show I ever went to was $10 entry........creature of habit....can't get excited. If I went....I'd be to meet folks.
This was to be my first as I have been procrastinating for decades, alas family situation dictates otherwise, there is always the fall, as I would love too meet all of you in person. Jim R
