Don't throw away sprues from kits they can become a nice load.

those pipe loads reminds me of how I used to use the paper roll cores from old style fax paper to make steel 'spiral weld' pipe loads.
guess you are using old copper pipe. if not, still a idea.

Very very nice. I always struggle getting a load to look good and be a fit to the size cars I'm running. Yours definetly fit the bill.

These loads are the work of another fellow O scaler that I thought needed to be shown.
Phil: The O scaler who owns these cars said that he purchased the pipe from a gentleman at a train show who said this pipe came out of his garden and I think he said something about a garden trellis. I don't believe it is copper but I'm not sure. He also said that the pipe already had the coating on it but was a lighter green color and that the stuff can't be found anywhere. I'm thinking this stuff is a steel pipe because of the rust on the inside. I believe all he did was cut them down and apply the wire tie downs.
