Nice to know the world didn't end with the pictures being taken. Might take my D4 to york in the Fall to get better than iPhone quality pictures
Thanks Alan! Debbie Geiser actually emailed me recently, they liked the photos and will be putting some of them up on the TCA ED website. Cool!
Should have hit her up for free pass next meet
Chris, What a horrible picture of you.
Well gee Eddie, you're no spring chicken either
Nick, you are so young that you haven't figured out how to follow the arrows.
No Eddie, it's actually you that hasn't figured out no one cares, or the fact that it's not even a rule at all. Nowhere to be found in the official meet rules document
Eddie G:
IMHO your recent comments directed at Chris and Nick were totally uncalled for. What did you hope to accomplish by telling someone they looked bad in a picture, or bringing up age and the arrows?
Nick:
It may not be listed as a rule, but there is a statement on page five: "For Your Safety, please follow the arrows on the floor." If there is a rules section in the document, I missed it.
That written, I don't care to debate the issue further, we have all made our opinions known. Nobody is going to change anyone's mind on the issue.
Thank you for sharing the pictures.
Chris, What a horrible picture of you.
It was a long day with too much sun
CW, just to clarify, I was talking about the official York Meet Rules & Regulations document, not the Meet Notice. There is absolutely no mention of the arrows in that official rules document, and the Meet Notice only briefly mentions it once in a small graphic. There is no stress on it as a rule, it's implied as a mere suggestion.
I too will leave it at that. Wherever traffic permits I will walk whichever direction I need to go, and the stalwarts will just have to stay angry about it
Chris
your photo has character!! Looks like a long days in the coal mines.
Burfle, I'm just kidding around...
I missed Joey Ricard's layout.
Sorry you missed that one, Bill! It's was Joey's premier appearance at York. His modeling prowess is truly something to behold. Absolutely mind-blowing! And those tiny On30 trains of his are operating via battery power.
I agree and love his work. Was he there selling a product and/or a service?

Rainy AM here in Richmond.....off from work today........looked at all the pics again(thanks Nick and others)..... October will be here in no time!

Yep! In addition to displaying his superb On30 layout, he was selling his scenic photographic backdrops, fine art railroad photos, custom structures, and other stuff via his Trackside Scenery business.
