Eddie G:

IMHO your recent comments directed at Chris and Nick were totally uncalled for. What did you hope to accomplish by telling someone they looked bad in a picture, or bringing up age and the arrows?

Nick:

It may not be listed as a rule, but there is a statement on page five: "For Your Safety, please follow the arrows on the floor." If there is a rules section in the document, I missed it.

That written, I don't care to debate the issue further, we have all made our opinions known. Nobody is going to change anyone's mind on the issue.

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

CW, just to clarify, I was talking about the official York Meet Rules & Regulations document, not the Meet Notice. There is absolutely no mention of the arrows in that official rules document, and the Meet Notice only briefly mentions it once in a small graphic. There is no stress on it as a rule, it's implied as a mere suggestion.

I too will leave it at that. Wherever traffic permits I will walk whichever direction I need to go, and the stalwarts will just have to stay angry about it

Sorry you missed that one, Bill!  It's was Joey's premier appearance at York.  His modeling prowess is truly something to behold.  Absolutely mind-blowing!  And those tiny On30 trains of his are operating via battery power.

I agree and love his work. Was he there selling a product and/or a service?

Yep!  In addition to displaying his superb On30 layout, he was selling his scenic photographic backdrops, fine art railroad photos, custom structures, and other stuff via his Trackside Scenery business.
