Standard Gauge Hiawatha

I recently acquired a used Lionel 713004-20 Hiawatha passenger train set. It wasn't until today that I got it out of the box to run it.

I put a new battery in it and got it on the track and tried it in conventional mode with my ZW. The lights come on in the engine but that's all that happens. I tried switching from railsounds to signal mode but nothing happens.

I'm hoping someone might have ideas for me to get this running. It's a long anticipated addition to the small collection and I'm very worried

The corrected Loco number is 6-13004
