I suspect the guys at Lionel have the latest word.
Always check the lionel store online, things show up there 1st then off to dealers
They have arrived
The Lionel store says they're sold out. Hope they saved one for me...
Ro lists them as not arriving until July.
The METCA Custom Run 2-6-0 from the same production run arrives at my house tomorrow. See the Custom Run here:

Hey Stu, the Strasburg did not show up on this link.

Hi John,
No, it didn't. The Strasburg version is a regularly cataloged item. The link I provided was to the METCA Custom Run D&GRW version. All versions (regularly cataloged and custom runs) are produced at the same time. Hence, if the METCA version is arriving now, the regularly cataloged ones should only be days away from hitting the dealer shelves.

They have arrived. I got a text earlier this morning confirming my text yesterday.
Is that text from your dealer or Lionel?
They have arrived, they are on the way to dealers. The Lionel site showed them in stock, they get them 1st, then the dealers. Give them time to get there. Most are all sold out on Lionel site already.
Mine arrived Friday
Whoever has one could you post a picture on this thread?
My friend Jay Hines has a YouTube video of his channel. We both picked up one Friday. Subscribe to his channel and enjoy. The video is about 8 minutes long.

Looks like a decent puller, I guess Lionel fixed the Mogul gearing issue.
One would hope so John. It looks like a great model. Now all of us that ordered #90 and #89 get to feel at least some excitement. I cannot wait to have both next to each other.

Finally a good link a video of the Mogul in action.
Does anyone have any idea why none of the dealers outside of NC have the moguls? Looks like METCA shipped theirs out and some stores in the NC area like Berkshire Station have them in stock? Also Lionel's store has them for sale, yet none of the other dealers have them? Am I missing something?
Dealers have to have room to accept delivery, they can wait like a month after they arrive to get theirs.
I guess Ro is going to be correct…….July!
All the dealers seem to show them as pre-orders.
Oddly, Lionel Store claims to have already received them and has one left.

I don't understand what's going on, some dealers have them (none of the big ones) and there's YouTube videos out there where people are showing they have them. I know there's usually a week to 10 day time period in which it takes dealers to receive them after they're shipped from Lionel but this one is strange
Ro says 07/10/23.
Charles Ro doesn't have them in stock...

Mr. Muffin said in his newsletter he’d have them

Yes that is why is states, EXPECTED AVAILABILITY BY 07/10/2023
They have been at the Lionel warehouse and will be shipping to dealers with the FA units that came in last week.
Thanks Greg! You got an insider working at the warehouse?
Until I get the call from my LTS I'm not concerned. Every website can say what they want, speculate that they'd have them here or there, call will be the answer for me. Until then, I'll just sit back and relax.

That looks great, seems to be worth the wait!
Did the real 89 ever have "Strasburg Rail Road" on her CN style number plate, like this model has? I've been going to Strasburg for well over 20 years, and I don't think I've ever seen 89 with a Strasburg lettered CN style number plate.
Finally, got word today that mine has been shipped!

This just shows what I have always seen, a CN lettered CN style number plate. I'm wondering if she ever wore one with "Strasburg Rail Road" on it the way the model has, or if this is another case of a lack of research on lionel's part.
