Found 2 track rail tabs bent down on top of each other underneath of the black geared triangle piece it was to tall/high at this point rubbing on the triangle causing drag, bent correctly and flattened out really well, problems solved

Motor mount on 072 left fastrack switch very sensitive, to loose gears slip, to tight binds motor gear shaft, must turn little motor mount screws in or out ever so slightly to dial it in the right tightness, like torcing down the heads of a old V8 ford motor.
Notice I did not say Chevy, ford guy all the way
Sometimes you'll need to use a paper nail file, and sand things that slid on top of each other just a little to make really smooth, lionel quality control moves to quick when they manufacture these switches, just check all this stuff take your time and you'll be able to correct your problems
