Great video Gary. It is a place we have targeted to visit and this just added some fuel to get there. Does Conway Scenic or any other line still run through the notch and over the trestles there? Bill Park

Yea, the Mountaineer they run on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday in the summer. More often in the fall foliage season.
Speaking of Real Trains, have any of our members visited the British "National Railway Museum" in York England? I have been communicating with a 13 year old boy in Arlington VA who loves trains. His Mom is taking him to the National Railway Museum in early August. I toured their online site, amazing, BIG engines, beautiful displays, the stories and history posted online made for wonderful reading. They have really preserved history in a classy way.
The mom (a virtual co-worker) will be taking him to York PA in the future too. And they have plans to visit friends near Strasburg. (I've never been to York PA nor Strasburg), this wonderful kid is beating me to all the cool stuff! I have sent him (Alex) several books and will probably add to his collection once in a while. New members should start young, right!
Get em' involved.
Don’t forget the Tallylyn lets you watch most of the webcams and I think it’s a whole five quid to watch all of them anytime during a year. I’d love to go over and see that and the NRM, especially when Prince of Wales comes out.
Gary,
What an outstanding video, thank you. Looks like the weather was perfect. I love visiting New Hampshire however this attraction has never quite made the cut. Seems I must redouble my efforts this October.

Great video Gary. We go to a place up in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire is beautiful. On our last trip, we took a ride down to Lincoln. The Hobo Railroad, and the White Mountain Railroad Climax Steamer at Clark's Bears Amusement Park are must-sees.
We ran across this little guy while we were cruising around the area too.
