I had earlier posted a project of the Mercer coal silos, on the New Haven line, in my town. I am almost finished but wanted to show you what I have done. I made up my own coal chutes but I am not sure if I will use them. SIRT was kind to send me some photos of open chutes that may have been correct. Thank you for looking and advice.

Here are the scratch built photos. I still need to touch up, paint the windows, install coal chutes and come up with the lettering.

Looks a lot better than when you first started. Safety ladder and center structure looks just right.
It's hard to know exactly what to do with the chutes, especially because they aren't there any more. Your chute looks like it fits with the design, now you just need to replicate it a few more times.
Looking forward to seeing it on the layout!
