Good Morning Everyone and Happy Easter,
Here are some pictures of a cold storage warehouse I am working on. I will be putting a refrigeration unit on the roof along with a lot of other details.
Let's see what you have been working on.

Happy Easter and Passover to those who celebrate them! Very nice building, Alan...I’m looking forward to seeing the finished model!
I made a slight bit of progress on my large diorama this week installing cork roadbed and track on the elevated line. As I mentioned last week, the pink foam “face” will eventually become a low cut-stone or rock wall. Here are a couple shots of this week’s work...
I also finished detailing and weathering my first freight car in nearly a year this week. Will post some photos later.
This was last Sundays build. I started a little too late for SSS. Construction is masonite and plastic brick sheet.
It will go next to the Atlas Dairy
This weeks projects are the two cranes. These are Lionel steam shovel kits with a custom soldered boom replacing the shovel. I still have to complete the rigging, paint the tracks and install a seat for the operator. The logo is a very old American Bridge Company logo that I found on their site.
These are going to be placed in a "bridge under construction" scene.
I don't know what the inside of a crane looks like but took a stab at this. You can't see it anyway. Oh well.
This is the boom section. I made a holding fixture and a jig to solder it together.
Nice work everyone! I've got nothin' this week. Couple of things in the "works" but not far enough along to show.
Dave, I'm going to try and make it over to Mercer this week, those dudes I made for your mill are itching to get to work!

Amazing work ! Happy Easter to all and Thank You !

Since I'm playing around with some extension tubes I picked up for my camera I might as well post a pic of one of the things I'm working on.
This figure is going to be a track gang crewman holding a long pry bar. He's wearing a safety vest, hoody, and work pants, and is the first of a group I hope to do based on a photo I found on the internet.
I start out with a wire armature and cover it with a thin layer of Kneadatite epoxy. Before the epoxy sets I cover it with a thin layer of Sculpey Firm (a polymer clay) and then let the under-layer of epoxy cure. Once set, I start adding small amounts of Sculpey to build up the legs and torso. At this point I'm ready to position the arms, cover with epoxy, and finish with layers of Sculpey. Once the figure is completed to my liking it gets baked to harden the Sculpey.
Final details and the head are sculpted from Kneadatite. I've tried sculpting small scale heads from Sculpey but they always end up looking like a Neanderthal.

It is from 2014, and ALOT has been changed/ improved/details added. Go to Youtube , type in " mth lionel train layout 2014" and look for " naborboy " under the photo. Thanks for your interest, regards, Cliff

Hey Clifford,
I actually didn't find a vid under 2014 but two vids under 2015. Is that you? I believe the narration says "McKensy Falls Railway".

Clifford,
Thanks for submitting the pictures of your layout. It is gorgeous!

Looks like you guys are catching on. Fantastic models by everyone!!!!
Nothing this week, I’m revamping and servicing my entire subway fleet. Have access to a large space to permanently set up the sub modules. Lots of updates and mods to do after 18 years.
Now I need some R-160’s.
Great stuff shared once again this week! As mentioned earlier in this thread, I recently completed detailing and weathering my first freight car in nearly a year. Life’s been a bit hectic, but I’m finally finding a little spare time here and there to work on some projects...and it’s good to be back at it! Complete details of this project were posted in the “What Have You 3-Rail Scaled Lately” thread in the 3RS sub-forum, so no need to repeat that here.

Joe A: I am glad to see your fantastic weathering work again. The car looking really good. 👍

I love that detail on the inside of that car!
I don’t have much progress to report this week, however with school on break ill be sure to have something down by next weekend!
Here is my latest effort. All scratchbuilt from styrene and brick sheets. Grandt Line windows and doors. I've started the display window insert also. There is a fourth building at the fat end that I haven't started yet. My good friend David Stewart is allowing me to design and build the town of Mt Union on his 1969 West Virginia layout.

RICH883, is that figure in you watch tower holding up a camera or binoculars? I'm looking for a figure, holding up binoculars, for a fire tower I have and can''t find one. If he is holding binoculars, where did you find him? If not, has anyone ever seen a non-military figure holding up binoculars?
I would like to second Steve (SIRT), there are some beautiful things displayed this week.
Joe,
I painted the building with a base coat of Painters Touch putty and dusted it with smoked beige and textured caribien sand.
Thank you for all your nice comments.
