Hi Al,
Set my freight depot on the board yesterday, ballasted the tracks, and wired the lighting. More still to do but I'm happy with how it looks so far.

Outstanding Alan and Bob.
This week I've been sick with a cold but with what little time I did spend in the train room I continued work on the downtown area. Another row of shops.....
Everyone in the house loves to come upstairs and "play trains"! Actually 3 of my dogs love to chase a laser light that I shine around sometimes while we are playing trains. When I ask my grandson if he wants to play trains the dogs get really excited and start jumping around then everyone runs upstairs, me included .
I picked up some more sidewalk from Home Depot, two 12" x 12" sheets should be enough. The hard part with using these mosaic tile pieces is scraping off all of the glue on the back so they lay flat.
Paul
Paul what's the thickness of those tiles? Great Idea!
This small model is a little gem I scratch built representing a small seafood food shack. It's only about 4" x 6" and features a very weathered appearance reminiscent of a sun beaten shoreline shack serving locals a good plateful of clams etc. The seagull (named Marty) hanging around the rooftop is hand carved. Hope you enjoy it.
Bob
It is a little gem. What a neat structure!! Right down to the rust stains from the hinges. Love the baskets on the back.
Very nice work Bob. The shack looks great. Can I get a dozen little necks please!
Some of my first attempts at scenery. This is a small section of the mainline heading into the tunnel.
Beautiful work everyone - especially Ben. Your first attempt! It's better than all my attempts combined!
Joe
Alan, always enjoy this thread and a big THANK YOU to its contributors!!!

The tiles are 3/8" thick. They are Tuscony Ivory 2x2's and are around 10 bucks for 36 pieces.
I might try a hair dryer to heat up the glue, maybe they'll come off without any scraping.

Great presentations this week. Been real busy with the administration side of the train club plus busy season at work.
Ben
WOW on the rock work!!!!
Steve
Thanks guys for the compliments.
Steve, don't let the rock fool you, it's actually those foam pieces that I sprayed with different washes. I have patience for many things but casting rocks is not one of them. I just wish there were more variations in the foam pieces.
Ben, for a first time doing scenery I'd say you are a natural!!
Bob, your seafood shack is awesome!!
And of course all of the work on here is really good.

New addition to the New Munoz Lines. It is currently sitting on what will be the lower level that will, eventually, be completely covered by the City of Munoz where the final site of the Tropicana plant will be located.

looks great
Good stuff! Al, what's that tank cutaway display going to go one? I'm still amazed at your carefulness and how you can piece together interesting geometries like that geodesic roof.
Myles,
This model will be used for training at a major oil company.
Mr. Scher,
I love the Tropicana Plant.
Bob,
Your structure is beautiful.
Serows,
Great use of common building materials.
Alan Graziano
the Tropicana plant has a huge rail complex. Are you going to have a juice train?
