Alan-incredible as usual.
I started a thread on this but..It's what I have been working on.It is part of a new line and a by pass on my lower level.Nick
This week the TMB installed a Lionel Welding accessory which is now positions in our scrap yard. Installation done and operating. Now we will add some grit to hide the base so it blends in better with the landscape. Here is a video of it in operation
Alan the building is amazing !!!
Nice stuff guys! I've been working on and off over the past month or so on a project to transform a MTH Premier Lehigh Valley Baldwin VO-1000 switcher from a pristine-looking out-of-the box 3-rail engine to a more-detailed, "3-rail scaled", weathered locomotive. I finally finished it this morning.

I like water scenes, I've modeled several on my railroad. These pictures show my latest effort to capture a long wharf alongside a small car float terminal yard. Details help make such a scene interesting. The tide is going out exposing an assortment of growth and coloration on the wood pilings. I modeled several examples of older piling of various heights with some leaning and in some cases with some weeds growing on top. There no longer in use and no longer maintained but add an interesting aspect alongside the wharf structure. Hope you'll enjoy the salt air...

Wow, outstanding work on that water scene, Bob!
Awesome water scene..
I have to make a water scene on my layout but keep putting it off.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Brian
Thanks Joe and Brian. Nice weathering on that Baldwin switcher Joe.
Bob
Bob,
I love the wood bulkhead and piles. That is not something that can easily be produced using plastic.
This is a great scene. You must have spent some time just researching it.
Steve,
i think the rusty bed on the truck is awesome
Joey A,
your painting and weathering just gets better and better.

I appreciate your compliment Al...and yes lots of time and thought indeed...studying real photos of such places, and trying to get the appearance right is what fills my retirement hours...it's great fun, as you well know. That was quite the facility you modeled...your customers must be left speechless when such a model arrives in the mail. Thanks again.
Bob
Lovely stuff again this week, guys.
All nice modeling this week guys, love the water scene!
love the "taters"
I haven't really had much time this week but what little I did have I spent working on some city flats.....
Paul
Maxsouthoz, unfortunately your pictures are not showing. It says image not found.
Hmm. Thanks.
I can see them. I'll try again.
Pat at P&D Hobbies patiently collected many Plastruct kits of office furniture for me.
It took him a while to get them all together, but here they are . . .
A few shots from above with the roof off, so you can see the floor layout - around the rafters.
Now a vain attempt to see through the venetian blinds.
Hmmm.
Any better?
Max, the pics are now there!! Nice work.
Thanks, Pete.

Joe A: Thanks. I use 1:45 Juweela potatoes what i buy couple years ago. Your weathering work is one of the best what i have ever seen.

Bob (Flanger) & Alan G., thank you very much!
Johan, thanks for the very kind words, and also for your answer to my potatoes question!! Keep up the great work!
It was nice to see that you fixed the pilots on the Baldwin. It makes the engine look so much better without the swinging pilots (hmmm... sounds like a doo wop group consisting of jet jocks). Nice power plant, and great weathering. The piers and water as also first class.
