Let's see, I first saw anything about this Berk on January 30th. It's now a dead project? Geez, they give their O scale stuff more time than that. Yep, I read about it on yahoo. Just for your information, when SMMW advertises for a new kit, it takes 6 months or longer before he decides if he's going to do it. He has a minimum number required and is willing to wait till the number is met. Back in the late 90's there was a U33C in brass project that died for a lack of numbers. For the price, it was too high for my wallet, and if it were run today, it would probably still be more expensive than the Lionel version. Brass is a tough sell. I do think a blurb in the NASG "Dispatch" would have been a good idea, not everyone is on the internet.
