There is a thread about this, over on the 027, Hi-Rail, & 3-Rail Traditional Trains Forum, with at least one photo of the GGD full-length doom car.
The "Rockford O Scalers" facebook page has several pictures of the GGD Milwaukee cars. Frank (the owner of the cars) is happy with them. He reduced the coupler distance, changed the rear light to red and fixed a interior issue with the Super Dome. Frank is sending me some pictures and I will post them when I get them.

Here is a video of the 1952 Olympian Hiawatha being pulled by Atlas O Fairbanks Morse Erie Built power on the Rockford O Scalers layout.

In the last shot, who made the Studebaker tractor trailer? Yellow cab/tractor and silver trailer.

These Studebaker trucks were made by “U.S. Model Mint” which is affiliated with Brooklin models.

DOOM???? car?
As always, thanks for sharing Frank and John. I am really looking forward to another visit this year during the March Meet. Great layout and a really nice group of model railroaders.

Thanks fellas, beautiful train!
I agree with what others have said. A beautiful train.
I enjoy looking at film/video of a long Milwaukee Road passenger train snaking through the woods, etc. at any time. Whether it be a miniature version of any scale or the prototype, it's all good eye candy.
it's nice when a set like this is so well detailed and complete that you can't add anything to make it nicer!

Terrific ! Nice job Scott!
Skytop rear view with the center taillight made red using automotive lens tape. However, the white LED is so bright it doesn’t look red in the photo when it is illuminated but does in person.

As nice as these are, I will have to settle for my K-Line tail car.
Making me envious!
Thanks for posting, Frank. If you wanna go the extra mile, the tail light should oscillate.
Do all the cars come in separate boxes or are they 4 each in two boxes and separate boxes for the Dome and RPO?
Such a blessing to have these spectacular sets being produced, I send my profound thanks and respect Scott.

All of the cars come in separate boxes. The individual boxes making up the 8 car set also came in a single large shipping box with its own label identifying the contents. The Superdome and the extra 10/6 sleeper just came in their normal individual blue and yellow Golden Gate Depot boxes.

I will leave that to your expertise, Santiago! 😊
They are beautiful either way! Can't wait to get mine!
Oscillating LED. Do you have a source for that?
Soundtrxx makes a sound car decoder with lighting outputs. Since it replicates four wheel truck sounds, it's perfect for these cars!

found this:
The Marslight modules (N8031/A) produce a highly realistic Mars effect which is very eye-catching. Output intensity varies from dim to full-bright through a triple-pulse timed to imitate side (reflective) shine as well as frontal shine of the oscillating Mars pattern.
The N8031A version of this module is configured with an additional output for an optional headlight. See Connecting in More Info to the right.
The N8031B Super-Marslight Simulator provides output for 3 LEDs to create the visual effect of an actual moving Marslight. See the video of effects in More Info above.
---> The N8031C version is for a Marslight with red LED. <-----
will that work?
Is the Skytop back end casting brass? Did you get any extras?
The back end of the Skytop is ABS plastic. The window inserts are a mixture of plastic and CNC poly carbonite. The back assembly fits inside the aluminum extrusion portion of the car. I don't have parts of cars. Am considering a second run of these sets. Let me know if your interested.

Would order at least a full set in UP colors.
Well, it is beautiful, even if plastic. If you ever get a broken one, send it to me less the window inserts and I will convert it to brass.
Scott, if you do another run, please consider offering the Skytop Observation car separately.
Second run CN ?

I would buy a second run of a set in UP colors (yellow).

Hmmm. Possible Milwaukee Road second run. Sounds like more reservations than available units produced. I guess it Could Be strike while the irons hot or does it get in Q behind second run Daylight, Broadway, and 20th Century, or do absolute numbers push any one to top of the heap. They are ALL beautiful !!! However, what about offering the Mlk. Rd. in the O 42 size? Might be nice selling another 50 full scale sets but what if offering O42 brings in those shut out because of size and O42 gets a Bunch of reservations ???? Say 150. Just thinking out loud........................
what do you think Scott
And my Missouri Pacific / Texas & Pacific Eagle set becomes ever more remote.

TrainBub,
I like your thinking... But the factory can switch on production of the full size easily and quickly, already talking about tagging them on to the SF Super Chief 1938 production later this year. Any changes to design would take time, add cost, inject uncertainty in production that would require more supervision, which is difficult right now for obvious reasons. I think we will stick with our full scale offering for now with limited numbers. Sometimes it's better to keep things under control (KISS) than to maximize orders. JMHO.
Any body have any interest in the Canadian national version
Wasn't it only the Skytop and Super Dome?
I have 3 X 2R CN SuperDomes for sale.
