I ordered the Sunset/3rd Rail Wabash E8. I hope it looks like this:

By the way, I had pre-ordered the recent Lionel Wabash E8 AA set. But it was very poorly done (wrong nose contour, and easy paint scheme stuff to get right, like white numbers instead of gold, no blue rectangular front side name bar, etc.), so off to resale it went and I hope the new owner enjoys it more than I did. It was just too inaccurate to keep for the price I was charged.
My sentiments exactly jtrain. When it came to the Lionel sd70 it was too inaccurate and I went with the mth model. I did keep the Lionel model as I contemplate replacing the cab and making it into an sd60 mac
Do the dummy units of these engines have directional lighting and coil couplers or are they dead with no lights or anything whatsoever? I am interested in the Amtrak engines.
3R Dummy B Units don't have directional lighting. Only interior light.
Ok, thanks for the info. I have a set of the Lionel in Mil Road and they are nicely done. I have never bought a Sunset Model train before so just curious.
