Swtich Problem

Greetings all,

One of my 1122 switches is causing a problem that I can't explain. The 2046W whistle tender pulled by my 646 locomotive derails when it traverses this particular switch but oddly only the rear truck, not the front. This happens when the switch is in either the straight or turn out setting. Also, the metal piece in the center of the switch is hot to the touch. My other 1122's are not like this.

Visually, it looks OK and it switches back and forth properly and the 2046W does not derail when traveling over my other 1122 switches. Anyone have insight as to why this is happening? Thanks.
