Progressing shadowboxes S4-5 and S5-6 for StreetScape Series 4. S4-5 has the cast stone painted and it is now masked for brick painting. S4-6 is ready for primer after all of the cast stone window returns (window openings) have had the laser cut surface sanded. Sanding the edges prevents the masking tape from picking paint when it is removed after all of the painting is done.

Look for a combination color and elevation variation of the D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. project at York. Elevation reversed, red brick and white craftsman style windows in 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-story heights. One each full length shadowbox and a couple each of just the business/bank building. This one got buried in the Covid shuffle and its time to finally get them done.

Fewer TAML One-A-Days to concentrate of TCA York preparation. The latest order of Taskboard included a 26.5% cost increase over the previous order mid-2023. More reason to make do with as much of the material as possible. Here's the StreetScape Series 4 dropout adaptive use: bookshelf kits. Stop by Row II, Booth 1 (corner spot on the middle aisle) in the Orange Hall at TCA York to make a small contribution to the after hours refreshment fund. They will be packaged 6 for $2.00. Let me know if you have any other ideas!

I am considering doing a custom run of Evergreen Scale Models sidewalk styrene sheet in a 1" x 1" score pattern (4' x 4' in O Scale) in the 12" x 24" size. The largest standard scoring patern is 1/2" x 1/2" and is pictured in the post. The price is to be established but will likely be about the same as the website retail of $23.65. If undertaken, the initial outlay will be high and I need some confidence that the end product will be utilized. If you are interested, please email me (toddmodel@mac.com) with your name and number of sheets that you would purchase. Likes to this OGR post will not be considered in my final decision.
