Sometimes, and more often than I'd like, when running multiple engines, the target line on the display will come up in the zero position when using the ENG soft key to toggle between the engines.  The engine will remain running at the speed it was set, but if the throttle is even bumped, the engine will come to a stop.  Sometimes it will correct itself by toggling back and forth a couple of times, and sometimes not.

I have experienced this on different CAB-2 remotes, and our base and remotes are all on the current software releases.  One thing that might be a factor is that when I am running, there are 2-3 other people also running with separate remotes for a total of 2-4 remotes being potentially used at the same time.

I was just wondering if this is something anyone else has experienced?

If someone else happens to address the engine, they will determine the new throttle position.  I have fun with this "feature" with the grand-kids at times.

I am aware of this "feature" too , but in this case, the others with remotes are not using this "feature."   They are too busy managing their own trains (challenging when you can't see your train a lot of the time due to layout size and crowds).  The only one addressing my trains is me, and it only seems to happen when I am toggling back and forth with the ENG soft key.

I am rarely the only one running, and when I am, I am rarely running two separate trains at the same time, so I can't say/remember that I've noticed it under that circumstance.  I am wondering though if it is somehow the result of 2-4 remotes trying to communicate with the base at the same time, since it only happens maybe 20-30% of the time when I toggle between the engines, and as I said, toggling one or two times usually corrects the situation.
