Will Lionel GG1 replacement insulators work on German stations,or would they be too small? Are there other sources or ideas to replace insulators on German station (Bing, Marklin, Carrette) telegraph masts?

Lionel insulators for the GG1 are too much smaller George, they can't do the job. It could be easy to make new ones with wood and then with several coats of paint it would look fine.

Maybe some reproduction prewar 060 telegraph pole insulators? Also some small beads from an arts and craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's.
