Just a quick video of a train on the Cheat River Grade.
After shooting this video, I realized that I should do something about the bare backdrop on the Cheat River Grade. I cannot make a photo backdrop right now, but maybe I can at least paint the backdrop a sky blue.

I ignored the backdrop and just looked at the train. What a good looking pusher engine.
Cool! The sound adds a lot to that
I'm going to presume since the drivers are slipping steadily that this engine does not have traction tires. BTW, great sound with the engine!

I've never known a 2 rail engine to possess traction tires. And it sounds as if there is a DCC system set up for control. The sound and slipping of the tires adds a very nice touch.

No, there are no traction tires and the wheel slip is genuine. If you check today;s entry on my blog, I discuss my experiments with how many cars a loco can pull/push up the grade and the parallels with the prototype.
