WOW...long walk!
Eddie,
Welcome home. How come you didn't bring back any of that Key West weather? I'm not enjoying this cold Maine winter. Although, we did have some rain that took away most of the snow while you were gone. (10 more years of work, then I'm moving to Florida)
York countdown is too far off for me. Since I only go in the Fall.
Whos going !??
Mike, I would move to Key West in a minute if I were 20 years younger.
Boy Eddie if you think it's nice now , if you were visiting in the sixties or seventies you might not have never come home.
Larry
Ahhh, Eddie, you never disappoint! The April Meet countdown, the first sign of Spring!
I registered at the October Meet. Just waiting for the badges!
Wonder if the "public" can pre-register? Wonder where they will be able to buy a ticket (since they are not allowed into the Silver Hall)?
Joe, The registration desk is roped off from the silver hall. It's going to be very interesting.

as someone who only got a 550 Verbal score, i'm not sure why this bothers me, but you do it twice a year. you got years (plural, not possessive) right... why can't you see days is also plural, not possessive?

Eddie: Do you have any photos from your trip from Key West. I was in Key West about twenty years ago? This photo is from:

Well, look on the bright side, it could have been 98 daze or 98 dayz.
I wanta hear about 94 new prototypes, 94 new manufacturers, 94 new dealers filling empty tables..
Nice try, Gary. It's only 90 something to go
We're going--can't wait!! On the other hand, I don't want to rush things as there's much to be done on our new layout this winter.
Wow. Your right. I just received the notice to renew my TCA dues!

If folks are smart they would just pay the $20 ahead of time by becoming a Trial Member for 6 months. No lines and they can see all the halls. Maybe it will be the impetus for them to become full members.
I'll be there either way - can't wait!

Neal Jeter
I received my York meet flyer also.
Now I'll be in a daze looking at that needless apostrophe in "day's" for 70 more days. Perhaps I should get up on the dais and make a speech against who dey is who's makin' dis error.
Blah.

Bill, Is he a member, or the public?
Pretty sure Steven is a member. Oh, you meant the dog?
Only service dogs are allowed. So, let them know if you have a dog that can fix trains!
A dog that can fix trains.... that's funny! Fits in with all the complaining on here about trains that are dogs, and need fixing ..
Stacey, I'll be going. I've missed the last several shows because I've been going to the East Coast Large Scale Train Show in March. But, this year it will be the TCA York meet. I usually only go on Thursday then when I leave the meet I go to the casino on the way home if I have any money left.

Any suggestions on where to stay!?
Depends on how much you want to spend for a room.

Open to suggestions. Im not picky.. but i dont want trash
The Wyndham Garden is the closet to the fairgrounds.
Wyndham Gardens is nice, close, and has a decent but not great restaurant/bar. Super 8 is relatively inexpensive, but it has become pretty sketchy the past few years. Days Inn is a decent compromise on price and quality.
A few possibilities
We stay at the Sheraton Four Points right behind the famous Round the Clock Diner.
