My only complaint with the Yellow Hall was how it was odd-shaped in terms of the aisles under the grandstands... made it an interesting pattern to walk to make sure you didn't miss any tables.

I had forgotten where C Ro was also.  I recall NST and Joe Grzyboski both crammed into one of those little alcoves on the side closest to what is now the parking lot between Orange and Yellow.  TrainWorld/Land and Loco Louie at the end (towards Gold hall) on the grandstand side of the building.  Used to buy all the Big Mo offerings from Harry Turner just inside the door closest to Purple (he had a single table right next to MTH).

My wife asked what time I'm leaving this morning. Same time as always for work day. York is next week!

Hope I didn't ruin her plans.

Ha... that is funny... cause the wife already threatened to have a new kitchen installed, and my reply was " Than I should leave Monday morning and return the following week! "

And not to hurt her feelings but I am sure she would agree the cleanest part of our house is our stove. Inside and out.

It will be two years ago this coming October that my (now) boss demanded that I be back @ our facility in Richmond, VA "in 15 minutes". He was not the least bit pleased when I informed him that I might be able to get to my car in 15 minutes.  By the time I got back, the crisis was over. I haven't heard the end of it since. Nor have I had the opportunity to return to York.

Am I looking forward to York? You bet your bippie!. Only this time I'll be pulling the battery out of my cell phone as soon as I park my car. Boss doesn't like it? Tough! I retire 3/1/18.

Actually looking forward to York , it's been a rough few months and I'm looking to get away from the daily grind and hangout with great train friends  !!!!

+ 1.   Funny, I practically said the same thing to my wife in conversation last night.   I'm blessed she supports me in my hobby even though it holds no real interest for her.   I suppose I do the same thing by never saying a peep when she comes home with stuff from her favorite department stores.

Everyone drive safe!

Regards,

Greg
