I've renewed my TCA Membership.  Secured my airline and vehicle reservations.  Secured my hotel reservation.  Just waiting for the on-line registration to open up for my badge.

After a one Meet hiatus, Traindiesel will come back to..... YORK, PENNSYLVANIA!!!

Ahhhh, what a rush!!

It's no fun to miss a York meet.  Welcome back, Brian!

John

You have access to a lot of southeastern PA treasures.   Enjoy the trip.  Gettysburg, just up the road, Rt 30.  A little further south, Maryland, Antietam national historic site, C&O Canal, Harper's Ferry, etc.  Some say the trip, on the PA turnpike, is a historic event.  We continue to improve the turnpike, and charge outrageous prices, but there is EZ Pass.

Weather is all over the place.  Pretty good chance of rain, snow not so much in April, but still a possibility.  I would bring a heavy coat, and maybe some rain gear.   Welcome to Pennsylvania.

Have fun,  Mike CT.

This years York will be a nice distraction from a hectic year this far.  I'll be looking forward to picking up my Millhouse Turn Table and doing a little shopping and a lot of socializing.  I'm starting to realize once my Scale Polar Express comes in I am probably on the downside of train buying so York has become more about friends than the hunt of new trains.  With less than a month to go the next few weeks are busy with the launch of a new mobile unit, NAB show, and then vacation at York.

My bride Wendy and I will be there. We have our badges, hotel reservation, etc. already. Going as regular members this time around since the OGR booth setup will be a bit different. We will be sharing space in the Orange Hall with Mr. Muffin's Trains (Steve and Liz Nelson) because they are now handling the Ameri-Towne and other OGR product lines following our "de-centralization" of the OGR operation late last year when we closed the larger office facility we had here in Poland, Ohio. Rich and Linda Melvin now work out of their home office in Hilliard, OH, and I work out of my new home office here in Poland, OH.

Jim Barrett, Ed Boyle, and I will be attending the April Meet and will be at Steve's booth area.

here you go ED .

START A COUNTDOWN FOR THIS, KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Harley-Davidson confirmed Tuesday that the company will close its Kansas City plant and move all operations to York, Pa. by July 2019. Harley and TCA . AT YORK , that should up the attendance, maybe  they can auction off a new bike

Finally got around to booking my room, this will only be my second trip. Supposed to have a procedure done in late March, but not sure of the recovery time. Guess I’ll have to postpone it, just to be on the safe side.

Its good to see that your priorities are in the right order.  After York, you have six months to get the procedure and them heal.

I put my badge in the car....

Funny, I put my badges in the van when I got 'em!

See you there.

My car was in the shop for repair when the badge came.  I’ll have to move it to the car, hang it on the rear view mirror.  Kind of like the kids who hung their high school graduation tassels from the mirror.  By the time I got a car, a ‘69 Ford Galaxy XL, I didn’t want anyone to think I just graduated.  LOL

I actually did postpone it. It wasn't really just about York, but shhhh, don't tell anybody. This makes for a better story.
