I had the chance to spend an hour or so at Norm Charbonneau's house the other weekend. During that time I ended up filming a lot more than I anticipated, so I figured I'd make a whole video of just his layout. Thank you Norm for welcoming us into your layout, it's truly fantastic.

Nice job Chris. Always enjoy anything Norm. Some nice shots of overall scenes seldom seen before.
Thats taking scale 3R O to a whole different level ...
Outstanding steam action ...
Now , me , as a Fairbanks Morse nut , id enjoy seeing his FM diesels in action just about as much as the steam ...
Thanks for sharing the video ...
Great video, Chris. Man, that is some impressive scenery. All the steam engines look amazing with the weathering Norm did, as well as the scale couplers. They sound amazing, too. Great layout, Norm.
I can only dream of having something a fraction that nice, that's real artistry! If it weren't for the 3rd rail, you'd swear it was real.
Great layout built by an equally great guy. And I am always amazed a how modest Norm is about his superb talents.
IMPECCABLE !!
Amazing......thank you for the video!

Yep, Norm is one of my inspirations.

Awesome!
I started watching Sid's video last night of the trip and haven't finished it nor started watching Chris's video here. Don't worry, I love Norm's layout and every video he has done. I think one of the best in a series was inside the roundhouse and or shops. Just the detailing of the tools makes you wait and wonder when a person is going to come walking in and get to work.
Great camera work of a GREAT LAY-OUT, thanks for posting.
Only wish I had a portion of Norm's and your talents.

Chris, thanks for posting this video. Norm's layout and his skills are amazing. A real inspiration. I watch Norm's YouTube channel and you have many views of his layout I have not seen before. Really neat look at his work and layout.
Thanks again for posting this great video.

It is amazing how one does not notice that he has built his beautiful layout around a loop to tracks. Just fantastic!
Now to get the storage room out of my layout room...

Excellent video, Chris~
Norm's layout and roster are definitely some of the best of the best. Even most of my strict HO gauge friends envy Norm's layout in terms of realism and attention to detail. Love that you left this without commentary - Norm's work speaks for itself.
Finally got this video in. Chris, excellent job filming Norm's layout. You really got some of the best shots that there is on his layout, and I'm sure that there are even better ones that we didn't get to see.
Absolutely outstanding - what's the average curve radius on Norm's layout?

What a neat layout. I really appreciate the Depression-era scenery and structures, and those weathered steaming locomotives!
Norm is definitely one of the top modelers in any scale!
