Ok I'm using the outside rail on one side to make detection block , the other outside rail will have the TMCC and Legacy signal with of course the capacitor. The hot middle rail will carry the DCS signal.
I'm use to DCC when you cut both rail to make a block. But from what I read on the Barry's MTH book, I cut only the middle rail, but on the main line I don't need section that I power off, so can I just run a #12 gauge bus under the layout and connect feeder to the mainline without cutting the main in block ? I will of course cut one place since it's a loop, I don't want to loop the signal. It'S confusing because book talk about electrical block and me I'm using detection block.
