The Big E is a great Train Show, go and have a great time, at the end of the month I am going to the Shrine outside of Pittsburgh, Pa for another good Train Show here in Pa.
Nothing like the Big E show however! Then again it's not a $15.00 cover charge to get in the door either.

Will there be free MTH WIFIs??? 
I toyed with going to the show. Planned out a few routes via buses and even a charter bus, but I just decided that despite it costing me less than $100 roundtrip to go and get in, I just can't afford to spend over 16 hours roundtrip to travel there and back. That time can get a lot of modeling or layout building done instead and I have too much stuff as it is. I was also discouraged as one of my hobby mentors privately told me it is mostly an HO Mega-show. Oh well. Maybe if I actually move to NYC in a year or so, I'll do it next year when it is only 6 hours roundtrip, lol. Have fun, get inspired, and take pictures for the rest of us.
I won't be attending the show this year, I have other obligations.
When I am able to attend, I make certain to be there for the opening to avoid some of the crowd.
Last time I was there, the show was absolutely packed within a few hours of opening.
