TIU Rev with 9-pin serial?

My new REV L purchased this year has both the USB and 9-Pin.

I thought they'd replaced the 9 pin with the USB. You're saying the new ones have both?

The USB was added so the new ones have both.

Yes.....I wanted to upgrade mine (circa 2006) so I could have the USB port for my MTH WIFI and the 9 Pin for connection to Lionel's SER 2 - 9 Pin.   Allows me to run Legacy engines on the MTH network.
