A refresher on TMCC consists with a Cab-1. All engines on the track in forward mode , (front head light on), track powered. TR##'s are 1 through 9.
Lead engine running nose forward.
TR button, TR##, Eng##, F (front), set (horn/whistle should sound)
Rear engine running nose forward.
TR button, TR##, Eng ##, R (rear), set (horn/whistle should sound)
Rear engine running nose backward.
TR button, TR##, Eng##, R, (rear) Dir, set (horn/whistle should sound)
Other engines running nose forward.
TR button, TR##, Eng##, set (horn/whistle should sound)
Other engines running nose backward.
TR button, TR##, Eng##, Dir, set (horn/whistle should sound)
Check.
(1.) Only the front and rear facing head lights of the consist should operate. Front in Forward direction, Rear in reverse. All other head lights should be off.
(2.) Only the front and rear couplers should work. Front from the F button, Rear from the R button. All other couplers should not work.
(3.) All axles should move in the same direction @ the same speed.
(4.) Operate a TR## the same as you would an Eng ##

Note that when engines/locomotives are removed from a consist, they should be assigned to (Train) TR 0.
