I happened to be on top of the water tank replacing a bulb when the local pulled into town. I took a couple more shots at ground level when I climbed down. The remainder were shot from across the road on top of the local hotel.

Pretty awesome. Not just your work; there is a great choice of colors and exciting logos happening. It's stylized by good taste in general.
Thanks for showing off 👍
Love it, Malcolm!
Did you paint the backdrop? Some of the best hand painted autumn colors I've ever seen hand painted on a backdrop.
This IS O scale, right?
Andre
Very nice. Thanks for the photo essay.
Very nice, Malcolm.
Outstanding Malcolm!

That Corn Crib looks just like the one grandpa had on the farm back in the 1930s-40s. The left side of it had a tenant- a very long, fat blacksnake( i;e, rat snake). I tended toward getting corn ears for the mule's dinner out of the right side.
Great layout scenes!
The low profile shots are really good!!!!
Looks great like the rest of your work.

Just be careful you don't fall off that dang water tower when you're up there messing around taking pictures!

Thank you all! I have completed about 1/3 of the layout with scenery. Our heat index has been 108-112 for the last week and we have more to come, great weather to stay inside and work on the layout. This forum has been an inspiration and learning experience following all of your great layouts.
Absolutely fantastic!! I LOVE every photo but especially LOVE the track level shots Your entire layout looks nothing but real Thanks for sharing! Most inspiring!
Neat, clean and colorful'.. Very Nice'......
Thank you! I took a few pics of the other end of the finished section of the layout. I wanted the models in the repair shops to show up so I modeled it with a new roof be installed. I have some Artista roofers and construction workers to add to the scene. The old red building is the paint booth. I only model half of it since I ran out of real estate against the backdrop.

NICE work on the A&O caboose! (As well as your layout.)
Many of the guys over at Frisco.org would get a kick out of this pic!
Andre
Thanks Andre. I am working on a Sunset 70 ton loco to go with the A&O caboose.
That's very cool, Malcolm. The A&O ran through neat hills and dales serving small obscure Ozark towns, along with the bigger towns of Harrison and Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
The A&O really would make a neat layout theme in its own right.
The above view: A&O train about to enter the west portal of Tunnel, headed east for Harrison, Arkansas.

Outstanding work Malcom, I love your backdrop. I'd really like to hear your techniques for painting the trees, they are very realistic and very well done.
Thanks for sharing your great work.
