Track and power for a Lionel World War II Troop Train 6-21951

Looking for advice on setting up a Lionel WWII troop train to run near the ceiling of a room that 10 x 10. My grandfather landed on Omaha Beach during D-Day and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. I want to set it up as a tribute to him.

I don’t currently have any track or any power unit (transformer). I will have one Woodland Scenics building. Everything else will not require power.

Looking for insight on track, power, etc. so I can buy smartly and get only what I need.
