Near completion of a small chemical plant I worked for in the late 60s, El Rexene, in Joliet. In need of a trackmobile, are these available? Doesn't have to be powered. Thanks

Lionel make an excellent selection of Trackmobiles in numerous roadnames. They are not quite the same model as in your photograph, but they are great little runners, and come with TMCC and electrocouplers.

Thanks, but for the Era and time period which I'm trying to replicate, I'm in need of the early trackmobile, car mover which were used extensively during the 60s. Thanks
I have never seen a working model of that one, maybe you can scratch build one?

That's something I'll probable be doing. Thought maybe a static model was available.
I recall seeing one of those somewhere, though I don't remember what scale it was.
Just be careful if you get one of the Lionel Track-mobiles, NOT to pick it up near the windows, as they will pop in then rattle around until you take it apart, which from what GRJ says, "is a pain in the ____".
