All,

Anyone know of some train exhibits on display in Manhattan this month.  Heading into the city with family and would like to see some if possible.  I remember I think the Citi Corp building used to have a model display of early city trains from the 50's or 60's.

Be sure to see the #1 Gauge display at the New York Botanical Center.  Just saw a video of that and it looks like it's worth a visit.  Quite a few trains running, including a bunch of streetcars and, of course, Thomas, for the kids.  Not the kind of construction that I'd like on my layout, but it is amazing to see the buildings that they have built using common botanical pieces:  Sticks, leaves, nuts, bark, etc. all glued together to replicate recognizable buildings, bridges and so forth.  Quite a lot of professional people have put the whole thing together.
