Train exhibits in Manhattan

Be sure to see the #1 Gauge display at the New York Botanical Center.  Just saw a video of that and it looks like it's worth a visit.  Quite a few trains running, including a bunch of streetcars and, of course, Thomas, for the kids.  Not the kind of construction that I'd like on my layout, but it is amazing to see the buildings that they have built using common botanical pieces:  Sticks, leaves, nuts, bark, etc. all glued together to replicate recognizable buildings, bridges and so forth.  Quite a lot of professional people have put the whole thing together.

Possible small Lionel layout at FAO Schwartz.

Citicorp station is long gone and the layout was recently auctioned last month in upstate, ny

If you like a great tinplate collection, go to the New York Historical Society Museum on West 77th street.  It is right off the C subway. They have 4 elevated tracks running.
