Just got a Pennsylvania steam freight set. Finally got it to connect through app and everything seems to be on. I've got it connected and all the bells, light, whistle, and sound effects seem to be working. but the train will not move.
someone suggested doing a factory reset, and when i did the train moved about 2Ft before stopping and putting me right back to where I was as far as everything thing on but not moving. tried another factory reset and it just sits and makes the idling noise.

After looking everything over it appears even though my tender and engine were connected, I didn't fully "click" them together. after doing so and restarting the app, everything seems to be working.
glad you figure it out yourself, and you learned something about what was wrong!

Just out of curiosity - is your train a Lionel, MTH or other product? A product number would also be nice if at all possible. Thanks.
