Trainsounds vs Railsounds

With Railsounds more recent than Trainsounds, exactly what's the difference between the two?

When bell/whistle is activated with Trainsounds chuffing is interrupted but does the same thing happen with Railsounds?

Trainsounds has a single channel processor while RailSounds has multi channel capability. This is why the RailSound boards can play back bell, primer mover and whistle effects all at the same time.

BTW, RailSounds is way older, its been updated a number of times. There is also something called "SignalSounds" which is just the horn/whistle/bell.
