I found this at Glacier National Park. A White truck carry-all used as a tourist bus. They are still used in Glacier National Park. "Red Jammers"

Jackie, those coils came in a kit that I got years ago at a train show. Here is a picture of them as they came. I was hoping the label was attached but oh well. I can't for the life of me remember who made them.
Anyway, I assembled the coils and sprayed them with dullcote. After it was dry I rubbed some powdered graphite over the surface to give them a metallic sheen. I used a Sharpie and went over the bands to highlight them.
These next photos show some coils I did make following an article in the May 2009 Model Railroader. I think these look much better and you can make them as unique as you'd like...

Mark Thanks for your reply. Tossing around some ideas for a steel mill with steel coil loads like you did and not having to make my own those would have been ideal. Take it easy; much appreciated!
