Had it been Germany, no one would have arrived too late to get on.
I hate to admit but when I worked on the Carowinds railroad in NC we always got on and off the train while it was moving....but open side cars, a 21 year old body and slower speeds made it a little easier!!

I was in Burma about fifteen years ago. British narrow gauge passenger cars sure didn't look like they do now. They looked like something from the 40's and well used. At least they upgraded the system a little bit. Don

Ive seen all of this . Getting on and off moving equipment was a challenge kinda fun actually....all those guys now have artificial knees and hips!!!!modern railroad no can do....
