This involves a material known here in the UK as Depron. Searching on the forum brings back no results so I thought I'd post as it may interest some of you, or possibly the material is known by another name with you guys? Its an ultra light weight styrene type sheet which can be scrored with detail and when painted up in water based paints and then looks quite amazing, especially good for stone, brick or wood grain effects. I've just make a start on this tunnel entrance where the scribed Depron has been glued to ordinary polystyrene for support.

OK, Depron is a Polystyrene foam expansion or extrusion product.

The Extruded form is a dense closed cell foam. Should work nicely.
