The first release of our 2-Story Union Pacific Trackside Warehouse Shadowbox Kits are ready to ship. Each kit makes a 12” long section of the trackside warehouse, 1” deep. The loading platform adds just short of 1” out from the face of the shadowbox.
To date we have only offered the trackside warehouse shadowboxes as built-up models. The building was developed after an actual Union Pacific trackside structure and made its debut at York in April of 2016, our first trip as a vendor in the Orange Hall. The 2-story version has proved the most popular. Sections may be combined and the longest that we have produced to date in shadowbox form is 6 sections or 72” overall length.
Each kit has all the parts to make a single section, 12” long. Purchase multiple kits to create overall lengths of 24”, 36”, 48”, 60”, etc. The kits include an extra full-width column piece to create the overlap/hidden joint when combining multiple shadowbox sections. Each kit also includes a free pack of outdoor furniture for you to build.
