Before I sell off my Unique Art, I decided to put them all in a video showing the range of train products they made.

Hello Steve,
That is a great way of documenting the Unique Art line! Thanks. Over here (Europe) Unique Art is virtually unknown, the only one I have ever seen (and bought) was the 450P boxed clockwork passenger set. I never realized that this was rare.

Nicely done, Steve! Wonderful lithography!
Very nice.
I've only owned one Unique Art set, which I did not hold onto.
I think it was similar to your 1951 set.
Same engine and caboose. I am not certain about the other cars.
Thank you for the video.
Steve,
You have the best assortment of Unique Art tinplate I have seen. Thanks for sharing.

Are these going to a specialty auction house?

That is a very impressive collection, and I'm sure the new owners will be proud of their acquisitions. A pity there wasn't a buyer who could keep the whole collection together.
ven though i've worked in a Litho plant for going on 16 years, it amazes me at the beauty of it all.
Very nice video of some great litho trains! I like all the Marx layout accessories, also.
Very nice videos. Many years ago I had a long discussion with Colin Duthie in far off New Zealand about the amazing similarity between Unique and Wells Brimtoy locomotives.
The photos unfortunately are very small, but I am attaching them for those interested
in the story of Unique Art Manufacturing. I'm also including some Mettoy and British Marx for comparison.

Just wanted to clarify. The above 3 photos were all taken by Colin Duthie. His collection
is truly remarkable and I was lucky to visit him in 2008.
