Yes, and of course it ended with how awful we were to the Chinese building the transcontinental RR.
Still delighted to see this steamer in operation! Chinese RR worker abuse is not news as a historical secret. That's political and out of scope of this blog.
Drat. I missed it. I did see the piece about Tim Allen however, which was interesting.

Wasn't the treatment and investment of them in the Transcontinental RR the origin of the expression: Not a Chinaman's chance in Hell. ?
