I like the windshield on the GGD better, maybe

I'm asking, isn't Key's four wiper UP correct?

RE: THe MOPAC E7 with the signature MP Portholes, pictured above!

We absolutely, positively need a three rail version from 3rd rail. I will buy FOUR ABA consists!

Would you buy the MOPAC E7 without the portholes?  IMHO the paint scheme is one of the best (thanks Raymond).  I've always wanted to model an Eagle headed by an E7, but (so far) without portholes, it has been a deal breaker .

The Key four wiper arrangement on the UP E7 is correct in one sense, incorrect in another.  In the early 1950'sUP modified at least two E7A's with two windshield wipers on the right windshield, and two on the left.  However, Key positioned them too close together.  They were not driven in tandem by a linkage.  Each had its own Sprague Air-Push 90 degree wiper motor, and the arc of the wiper arms/blades did not overlap.  On the Key model, the inboard wiper is mounted in the right place, but the outboard wiper should be mounted further toward the outboard edge.

ADDITION/CORRECTION:  The locomotive pictured with road number 988, handling a train, has the dual wipers incorrectly positioned.  The 1987 Key unit numbered 988 (the first photo of the series) is right on the money.  As to the single-wiper GGD unit numbered 998, see next paragraph.

On all the GGD models the single wiper per side is mounted a bit too far inboard.

Okay . . it's pretty picky, but the question was asked.
