Called Lionel last week and was able to get an update on their Jupiter and 119. They said that they expect to receive them sometime this week. With that said, in theory, they should arrive at dealers in mid to late October. Thanks for reading and hope y’all found this info helpful.

Yes you are right. I called Lionel yesterday and the lady told me they are on the water and are expecting them to arrive any day now. So far it is looking towards and of the month early November.
Ryan commented on the Demo with Dave on Monday that Lionel will have them in hand Thursday (Oct. 16th) and should ship to dealers next week 😁

Big news! I just got charged by Lionel for the amount of the Brass Hybrid so they have finally arrived!
Wondering if the B&O Wagon Top Cabooses are on that shipment?

Yes! They are finally here! I inspected some of each sku yesterday when they came in and everything looked perfect. We'll begin shipping these out to our direct customers and dealers today and next week. For those who can't wait (like me!) I'll be on Facebook Live tonight at 6:00 unboxing these at home. I have to say, this has been a 3 year project of love and I personally am very proud at the way they turned out. If you don't do Facebook, I'm sure you'll find the video reposted here soon by another member. I hope you'll all agree that they are worth the wait.

Sorry John, I missed your post. I'll be reviewing the 4-4-0s tonight. The cabooses still have a little while to go... they are scheduled to leave the factory at the end of this month. That should get them here mid-December if all goes well. Thank you!

Just watched the video and something I noticed was that Ryan did not mention the individual numbering of the models. I looked back at the catalog, to confirm my suspicion, and in the features section, it shows individual numbering. So, my question is did Lionel do away with it or did I miss something?

Yeah, it would be cool for Eric to a demo on one of these beauties. I can say, I will be doing a full product review of the 119 and its matching cars as soon as it arrives.

Watched your video over the weekend, and have to say it's made me even more excited to get mine. I love early American style locomotives with all the color like these, as well as later ones that were more 'drab'. I hope Lionel looks at doing more smaller scale locomotives like this is wheel arrangements other than 4-4-0.
Also, was that a broken tether wire on 119? In the video it seemed like there was an extra wire just floating near the connector.

No, you are correct. I noticed the same wire. Personally, this make me a bit worried that this is going to be another batch of locomotives that are going to have never ending teething problems. All I hope is that the others do not turn out to be like the recent scale Legacy Big Boys.
Great engines, I really love the faux wooden cab as well as the paint job. One thing of concern which Tony at my LTS said when I was telling him about them was the drawbar pins. He said that he hoped they stocked up on them.
Also, I thought Ryan had said he would try to do a test run this week before the Virtual York show? Maybe I'm mistaken and heard something else(steam engine whistle)?
I watched and I must say Lionel has done a nice job with these. I'd be interested to see what the mystery wire is as well but not overly concerned about it.
I'll run these and some other steam on my show next Monday.

Just got my Jupiter. The unique numbering is under the engine. Mine says "127 of 277" so it was a relatively small production run. It is a beautiful detailed and painted brass engine but I can understand the negative comments about this product posted on this forum last year. There is no sound or smoke, just lights--pretty similar to the engines of old. I know I had a few 2nd thoughts just after shelling out $1100. For me, it's fine since I'll put the engine on a display shelf with all the other Lionel 1800's-era trains that I never actually run!. I also purchased the trailing passengers cars, one which provides the sounds.
Wow! the engine is really nice. You can see that there was a lot of attention to detail. One small thing that I noticed... and make a big difference in my opinion, is the correct size of the lead trucks. So many of the scale engines have the small trucks and look out of proportion, not these engines.

Ok, that is interesting. I found the numbering about a few days after made my last post. Mine says 145 out of 260. Since yours says 277 that means the overall numbering is different for each variation.
I received a phone call message from Lionel today saying the two engine set was ready to ship but due to a manufacturing problem there would be no free coach cars. They are discounting the set by 10 percent or you can cancel the order. Anyone have any further information about whether the passenger cars will eventually be available or is this it? Just the engines. (note I already have the add on cars with sound.)
I got the same phone call. I was never told why no free Coach set. I just assumed they can’t count and sent them all out the door too quick. The woodruff sleeping cars did get made I was gonna see if any dealers have some left
