An ERA coming to an end. Since 2009 I have been involved with designing and building an O Gauge Train Layout. While the layout was substantially completed by 2016, like most large layouts are never done. But it is time to move on to a new project. Thank you, Bryce for giving me your blessing to move on. This was truly your project and I loved working on it with you and for you. The Train Room was never about running trains but rather designing and building. I enjoyed learning the various techniques necessary to accomplish the build out. But I enjoyed, even more, the network of people that I met along the way. Many giving of their time to help me press on.  A special thanks to Roger and Dorcie Farkash (TW Design),  Alan Zamorski,  (Millhouse River Studio), Dennis Brennan, Jim (Bridgeboss), Dave Hikel (Hikel Trains), Barry Broskowitz.

And to my BEST Train Buds: Carl, Barney, Scott, Mark and Harrold, please don't be too mad at me.  I am not leaving the building and will still see you guys at York and Trainstock.

Not sure how long it will take to dismantle and liquidate the inventory but hopefully by this time next year a new ERA can begin. Maybe a Lego Layout????? Reagan and Garrett would enjoy that.

I am 20 miles west of Disney World, just 3 miles off of I4. Auburndale FL

The layout is made with "L" girder construction and could be dis-assembled.  Trymer was used for mountains and terrain landscaping.  Very light could be cut and repair shouldn't be too bad.  But I have no experience in doing something like this.  With the right knowledge the layout could be relocated.  Could be loaded on a Semi for transportation.  Would be willing to dicuss.  However,  I would ask to do it soon.  While I haven't posted any Track, Track Switches, DCS and power items many are already expressing interest in those items.  Would really be nice if someone is interested in taking it and keeping it as a complete layout.  I run trains via phone and ipad, utilizing DCS WiFi units.  There are 3 power stations, one under each of the large tables.  I have 3 Z4000's, 3 TIU's, 8 AIU's and 3 WiFi units, 13 or so 24 port Terminal blocks, relays for turning off side tracks.   All buildings, appoximately 35+, road lights, Miller Engineering Lite up Signs are powered by 3 computer power supplies. If you email me, address in profile, I will send you my phone for further discussion.
