I am currently upgrading my DCS to version 4.2. I was able to successfully download and install the consumer loader program, but am unable to install the DCS software. After downloading and unzipping the file, I get two files that read "remote4p20.rem" and "tiu4p20.tiu" What programs am I supposed to open these files with. I am running windows XP 32 bit.

The DCS Loader program opens those files. Those are the upgrade files.
You get the DCS Loader here: ProtoSound2. Pick the 32 bit version for XP.

When you do the actual software upgrades via the Loader Program, the Loader Program will ask you to navigate to these files and will use them to perform the upgrades.
Thanks for the advice, the upgrade was successful. Also, is there any way you can preview a PS2 sound file prior to transferring it to the engine? I'm assuming there is not, but thought I would ask the question anyways.

My understanding is that, at present, some PS2/PS3 engines have sound file previews on their respective web pages.
