I have these 2 transformers.

They both work measuring with a volt meter.  Are there any concerns I should have using these to run trains.  I plan to use one of these on a 1950 Marx train set I recently acquired.  Is there any maintenance I should do before use?

Thanks,

Chris

I ordered ten replacement cords from the Train Tender. The nice thing about these cords is that the plugs are the same size, i.e., they are not polarized so it makes it easy if you want to phase them with other transformers.  It was $2.85 for the bulk price or $4.00 each for less than ten.  Whenever possible, I always buy in bulk.  The cords are tined on the end which makes it easy to solder in.
