Ok. So I now have a Visionline Big Boy. It’s awesome. Changed batting in whistle and blowdown units. Whistle good. Blowdown anemic. But if I leave the cover off the refill hole then I get tons of smoke from blowdown. Put the cover back on and back to anemic smoke. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a cure? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Blow out the tubes between the smoke unit and the outlets. Sometime the fluid goes into those tubes. They are not easy to get to, you will need a piece of tubing or something like an ear syringe to blow them out.

You can also blow from the other end under the cab.
